Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Washington). They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Limestone Rockets 69-16. With the Panthers ahead 62-16 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.

The win was the fourth in a row for Washington, bringing their record up to 4-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 9.3 points on average over those games. As for Limestone, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-5.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Washington is set to take on their familiar foe East Peoria at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Limestone will face off against rival Morton at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
