Baseball Recap: Lakeside Comes Up Short

Lakeside was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 8-0 to the Arlington Lions. Considering the last time the Lancers couldn't score was back in February, the team can't take the result too hard.

Lakeside's defeat dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Arlington, they have been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season.

While Lakeside had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday.
