Volleyball Recap: Archbishop Williams Picks Up Fifth Straight Win at Home

Archbishop Williams's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Millis Mohawks. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

Archbishop Williams was especially dominant in the second set. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-8, 25-20.

Their offense was headlined by Jenna Mishou and Avery Valicenti, who picked up six kills apiece. They got some help from Kate O'Toole and her 14 assists. Valicenti was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Archbishop Williams pushed their record up to 9-7 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. As for Millis, they are on a 19-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-17.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Archbishop Williams will welcome Bishop Stang at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Millis, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Medway at 5:00 p.m.
