Basketball Recap: Holy Family Catholic Comes Up Short

Holy Family Catholic was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 65-61 heartbreaker at the hands of the Breck Mustangs. While losing is never fun, the Fire can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota basketball rankings (they are ranked 211th, while the Mustangs are ranked 60th).

Holy Family Catholic's defeat dropped their record down to 6-13. As for Breck, they now have a winning record of 10-9.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Holy Family Catholic will take on Southwest Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Breck, they will challenge Blake at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
