Volleyball Recap: Davis Takes a Loss

After flying high against Eisenhower on Thursday, Davis came back down to earth. The Pirates fell just short of the Ridgeline Falcons by a score of 3-2 on Saturday. While the Pirates didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Falcons 25-14 in the first set.

Davis took Ridgeline into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking five-point loss. The match finished with set scores of 14-25, 25-16, 25-19, 25-27, 15-10.

Davis' loss dropped their record down to 9-5. As for Ridgeline, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 17-7.

Davis has already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Eastmont on the 21st. As for Ridgeline, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Lewis & Clark on the 21st.
