Volleyball Game Preview: Dunbar Mightymen vs. Crane Medical Cougars

The Dunbar Mightymen will challenge the Crane Medical Cougars at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Crane Medical took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Dunbar, who comes in off a win.

On Friday, Dunbar sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over Austin College and Career Academy. The win continues a trend for the Mightymen in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now won three in a row.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Dunbar got the one that really mattered. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 24-26, 25-21.

Meanwhile, Crane Medical didn't have quite enough to beat Farragut on Friday and fell 2-1. The Cougars haven't had much luck with the Admirals recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Crane Medical sadly wound up on the wrong side. The final score came out to 25-18, 19-25, 25-15.

Crane Medical's loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Dunbar, their victory bumped their record up to 5-1.
