It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Covenant Life ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They snuck past Perry Hall Christian with a 60-55 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Cougars.

Covenant Life got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Daniel Melendez out in front who posted nine points along with six assists and five boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Nehemiah Dixon, who went 5 of 10 en route to 14 points.

Melendez wasn't the only one working in the assists department: Covenant Life was working as a unit and finished the game with 18 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.
