Football Preview: Lanier Longhorns vs. Roswell Hornets

Roswell's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB four times. Leading the way was Ryder Duffy with two sacks. Roswell got some further help from Brody Duffy: he picked up a sack, made 12 total tackles, and defended two passes.
Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Roswell was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 237 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 219 rushing yards in four consecutive contests.
The victory got Lanier back to even at 4-4. As for Roswell, they pushed their record up to 6-1 with the win, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season.
