Westlake's stunning victory over Allen has given a huge shake-up to the MaxPreps Xcellent 25 National Football Rankings presented by the Army National Guard. However, an October rivalry game in Texas could end up having an even bigger impact.

Westlake moved to 14-1 with the victory over Allen. Its only loss? A 35-14 setback to Lake Travis.

Lake Travis, meanwhile, is unbeaten. With its easy victory over Mansfield, and Westlake's win over Allen, Lake Travis is now a national title contender, especially with a showdown against No. 3 Katy in the Class 6A-II finals next week.

Another national title contender is Colquitt County, which moves to No. 2 with back-to-back impressive wins to close out a Class AAAAAA title in Georgia.
