Basketball Recap: Trinity Catholic Comes Up Short

On Saturday, the Trinity Catholic Celtics lost to the Orange Park Raiders on the road by a 67-53 margin.

Despite the loss, Trinity Catholic still got an impressive performance from Gabriel Serrano, who went 7 for 8 on his way to 17 points and five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Mike Neal, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and 11 boards.

Even though they lost, Trinity Catholic was working as a unit and finished the game with 16 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since back in November of 2024.

Trinity Catholic has traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-11 record this season. Their recent woes sure aren't a result of their performance when it comes to three-point shooting accuracy: their three-point shooting accuracy was 33% in those games and 20.8% outside of them. As for Orange Park, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-11.
