Baseball Recap: Anderson Beats West Clermont for Their Third Straight Victory

Anderson had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They walked away with a 7-3 win over the West Clermont Wolves. That's two games straight that the Raptors have won by exactly four runs.

Anderson got a great performance from Connor Fecher as he pitched six innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off five hits. Fecher has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks any time he's pitched this season.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Henry Bee, who went 2-for-3 with two doubles, two RBI, and one run. Those two doubles gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Nick Rosiello, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

Anderson's record is now 14-9. As for West Clermont, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-13.

Anderson wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 4-0 defeat against Archbishop McNicholas on the 17th. Hopefully West Clermont paid attention to the Raptors' matchup: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Raptors at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
