Basketball Recap: Vallejo Takes a Loss

Vallejo was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. The match between them and the St. Patrick-St. Vincent Bruins didn't end well, with the Vallejo Redhawks falling 67-52. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Redhawks of the 54-53 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2024.

Vallejo's defeat dropped their record down to 3-12. As for St. Patrick-St. Vincent, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-6.

Vallejo won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Swett at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Swett knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past nine contests -- so hopefully Vallejo likes a good challenge. As for St. Patrick-St. Vincent, they will take on Pleasant Grove at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday.
