Game recap: Pleasure Ridge Park High School Football Team defeats Boone County

FLORENCE, Ky. - Pleasure Ridge Park (Louisville, Ky.) didn't let up as Saturday's game came to a close, scoring 22 in the fourth quarter to seal a 44-20 victory over Boone County (Florence, Ky.).

After taking the lead on a touchdown run by Delvon Dunn in the second quarter, the Panthers led 14-12 at the half.

Pleasure Ridge Park expanded its lead to 10 points entering the fourth quarter. PRP scored two times in the third, including once on a touchdown pass by Spencer Sumpter to Taywan Taylor.

With the win the Louisville school extended its winning streak to 11 games. The Panthers defeated the Yellowjackets 15-14 last week.



The Rebels' Jerry Marshall played well. The sophomore running back ran for one touchdown. His performance brought his touchdown total to two on the year.

Sumpter played well for Pleasure Ridge Park in the victory. The senior quarterback threw three touchdowns and caught one touchdown.
