Elk Grove entered their tilt with Golden Valley on Thursday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against the Cougars by a score of 59-50.

Elk Grove's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Josh Wilks, who almost dropped a double-double with 18 points and nine boards.
