Volleyball Recap: Bismarck Comes Up Short in High-Profile Contest with Century

Bismarck faced Century in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Demons lost 3-0 to the Patriots. The defeat continues a trend for the Demons in their meetings with the Patriots: they've now lost four in a row.

Despite the loss, Bismarck still got an impressive performance from Aspen Roaldson, who had 19 assists and 12 digs. Roaldson has been hot for a while, having posted 14 or more assists the last 27 times she's played. Another player making a difference was Rosalyn Brunelle, who had five kills, three digs, and two aces.

Bismarck's loss dropped their record down to 21-12. As for Century, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 18-1.

Bismarck wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-2 win against Dickinson on the 15th. Century does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
