Soccer Recap: Piedmont Academy Comes Up Short

Piedmont Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Mount de Sales Academy Cavaliers.

Piedmont Academy's record is now 0-10. As for Mount de Sales Academy, their win was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 2-3.

Looking ahead, Piedmont Academy will look to defend their home pitch on Tuesday against Gatewood at 5:00 p.m. As for Mount de Sales Academy, they are taking a road trip to square off against First Presbyterian Day at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. First Presbyterian Day will roll in looking for their ninth straight victory, something Mount de Sales Academy surely won't give up without a fight.
