Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Dario De La Pena and Eric Resendez Lead St. Patrick to Victory

After losing to Rockford Auburn the last time they met, St. Patrick decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Shamrocks came out on top against the Knights by a score of 2-0 on Saturday.

St. Patrick was led to victory by Eric Resendez and Dario De La Pena. Resendez had 13 assists and four digs, while De La Pena hit 71.4% for five kills and three digs and three blocks. Those three blocks gave De La Pena a new career-high.

St. Patrick's record is now 9-11. As for Rockford Auburn, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 12-12.

Coming up, St. Patrick will take on Nazareth Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Rockford Auburn, they will challenge Belvidere at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
