Baseball Recap: Florida State University High School Comes Up Short

After flying high against Godby last Tuesday, Florida State University High School came back down to earth. The Florida State University High School Seminoles fell just short of the Wakulla War Eagles by a score of 7-5 on Thursday. The Seminoles have struggled against the War Eagles recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meetings.

Brayden Smith made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and got on base in three of his five plate appearances with one stolen base, two RBI, and one double.

Florida State University High School's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Wakulla, their record is now 6-2.

Coming up, Florida State University High School will head out to square off against Braden River at 7:00 p.m. on March 13th. As for Wakulla, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Suwannee at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Wakulla is facing Suwannee at the right time seeing as Suwannee is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
