Fountain Inn is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. They had just enough and edged out Berea 2-1.

Trevor Monroe and Lucas Ford scored both of Fountain Inn's goals, bringing their combined season tally to three goals.

Meanwhile, Brashier Middle College Charter unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-pitch advantage in their season opener. They came up short against Greenville H on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The Bengal have struggled against the Hurricanes recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meetings.

Fountain Inn's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-1. As for Brashier Middle College Charter, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.

Fountain Inn beat Brashier Middle College Charter by a goal in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, winning 2-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for Fountain Inn since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
