Volleyball Game Preview: Carrollton Hawks vs. Routt Catholic Rockets + How To Watch

Carrollton is on a five-game streak of home wins, while Routt Catholic is on a four-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Hawks will welcome the Rockets at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Thursday, Carrollton beat Brown County 2-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-19.

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Routt Catholic and Lutheran meet (four straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Thursday. The Rockets came out on top against the Crusaders by a score of 2-0.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Routt Catholic was: they took both sets by at least 12 points. The final score came out to 25-13, 25-8.

Routt Catholic's win bumped their record up to 8-11. As for Carrollton, their victory bumped their record up to 14-4-1.

Carrollton was able to grind out a solid win over Routt Catholic in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, winning 2-0. Do the Hawks have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Rockets turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
