Basketball Recap: Heritage Academy Takes a Loss

Heritage Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 14th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Rossville Christian Academy Wolves, falling 58-32. While losing is never fun, the Patriots can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 247th in Mississippi, while the Wolves are ranked 110th in Tennessee).

Rossville Christian Academy was led to victory by Shaterrica Faulkner and Kimora Wooden. Faulkner posted 21 points, while Wooden had 20 points. That's the most points Wooden has posted since back in November of 2024. Another player making a difference was Georgia Ahlstrom, who scored ten points.

Heritage Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-12. As for Rossville Christian Academy, they now have a winning record of 15-14.

Heritage Academy has already played their next match, a 59-31 defeat against Pillow Academy on the 17th. Rossville Christian Academy has also already played their next contest (against West Memphis Christian), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
