The Windber Ramblers will take on the Penn Cambria Panthers at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Windber's favor is that they have posted at least ten runs in their last three matchups.
On Thursday, Windber got the win against Rockwood by a conclusive 12-2. The Ramblers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven games by nine runs or more this season.

The team relied heavily on Rylee Baer, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. She is on a roll when it comes to RBI, as she's now brought in three or more in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Nici Costlow, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with two runs and two RBI.
Windber always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .516. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Rockwood only posted an OBP of .261.
Central Cambria hit Penn Cambria with a five-run third inning on Thursday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Panthers came up short against the Red Devils, falling 13-7. The Panthers haven't had much luck with the Red Devils recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.
Autumn Yeoman was cooking despite her team's loss, firing off two home runs and four RBI while going 2-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of Emily Cully, who went 1-for-3 with two runs and one double.
Windber pushed their record up to 8-2 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.7 runs over those games. As for Penn Cambria, their loss dropped their record down to 1-8.
Penn Cambria's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Windber has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 10.6 hits per game. It's a different story for Penn Cambria, though, as they've been averaging 11.2 hits. Given Windber's sizable advantage in that area, the Panthers will need to find a way to close that gap.
