Softball Recap: St. Johns Country Day Takes a Loss

St. Johns Country Day was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 16-1 to the Bishop Snyder Cardinals. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cardinals this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 16-0 back in February.

St. Johns Country Day's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Bishop Snyder, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. Johns Country Day will face off against Harvest Community at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Warriors will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Spartans surely won't give up without a fight. As for Bishop Snyder, they will square off against Fernandina Beach at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
