Volleyball Game Preview: Gardena Panthers vs. Rancho Dominguez Lobos + How To Watch

Gardena is 2-8 against Rancho Dominguez since October of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The Panthers will challenge the Lobos at 3:30 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

Gardena came up short against San Pedro on Monday, falling 3-0.

Meanwhile, Rancho Dominguez came up short against Narbonne on Thursday and fell 3-1. The loss continues a trend for the Lobos in their meetings with the Gauchos: they've now lost three in a row.

Rancho Dominguez started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 23-25, 25-23, 25-18, 25-16.

Gardena's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Rancho Dominguez, their loss dropped their record down to 3-11.

Gardena couldn't quite get it done against Rancho Dominguez in their previous meeting back in September as they fell 3-1. Can the Panthers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
