There's no place like home for Thales Academy Apex, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 12-2 margin over the Southern Wake Academy Lions on Thursday. The Titans might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matches by six runs or more this season.

Louis Olsen made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits while striking out nine over four innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in March. He was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in two of his three plate appearances with two stolen bases and two runs. He has become a key player for Thales Academy Apex: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 3-5 otherwise.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Holden Wilcenski, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with two stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI. That's the most runs he has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Rylan Sheldon, who went 2-for-3 with three stolen bases and three runs.

Thales Academy Apex's win bumped their record up to 9-5. As for Southern Wake Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10.
