Soccer Game Preview: Forks vs. Tenino

Forks is 9-1 against Tenino since March of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Forks Spartans will be playing at home against the Tenino Beavers at 7:00 p.m. Forks will be strutting in after a victory while Tenino will be coming in after a loss.

Forks' defense heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They blew past Ilwaco 9-0. The win continues a trend for the Spartans in their matchups with the Fishermen: they've now won four in a row.

Meanwhile, Tenino came up short against Montesano on Thursday and fell 4-2. The Beavers haven't had much luck with the Bulldogs recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

The victory got Forks back to even at 1-1. As for Tenino, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.

Forks took their win against Tenino in their previous meeting back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 5-0. Will Forks repeat their success, or does Tenino have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
