Softball Recap: Norfolk Christian Takes a Loss

Norfolk Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 22-3 to the Hampton Christian Academy Warriors. The Ambassadors were not able to make up for their defeat to the Warriors from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Norfolk Christian saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jana Young, who went 1-for-2 with four stolen bases and one RBI. Those four stolen bases gave Young a new career-high. Maddy Pfeiffer was another, scoring a run and stealing Two bases.

Norfolk Christian's loss dropped their record down to 1-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Norfolk Christian will face off against Cape Henry Collegiate at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The contest will give Norfolk Christian their first taste of in-conferenceaction this season. As for Hampton Christian Academy, they will square off against Greenbrier Christian Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
