Volleyball Recap: Hanover Central's Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Five

Hanover Central entered their tilt with Hobart on Tuesday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Brickies. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Hanover Central got the one that really mattered. The final score came out to 25-11, 24-26, 25-22, 27-29, 15-8.

Nora Edgerton paced Hanover Central's offense, picking up 26 kills. Edgerton got some help from Gabi Esparza and her 43 assists. Jessica Ferguson controlled things from the service line, finishing with six aces.

Hanover Central's win bumped their record up to 21-4. As for Hobart, with the defeat, they broke their three-match winning streak and moved their record to 12-16.

Hanover Central didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Merrillville on the 8th. As for Hobart, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-1 loss against Kankakee Valley on the 9th.
