Basketball Recap: Salam Takes a Loss

Salam and Abundant Life/St. Ambrose Academy squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Salam had to settle for second. They were outmatched by Abundant Life/St. Ambrose Academy and fell 73-31. While losing is never fun, Salam can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 309th, while Abundant Life/St. Ambrose Academy is ranked 134th).

Salam has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 20-6 record this season. The victory was the sixth in a row for Abundant Life/St. Ambrose Academy, bringing their record for this year to 19-4.
