Basketball Recap: Onsted Makes It 19 in a Row at Home

Onsted came tearing into Thursday's matchup with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 18.8 points), and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Grosse Ile Red Devils 66-37. The Wildcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 games by 20 points or more this season.

JT Hill was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double with 30 points and 12 rebounds. He is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in each of the last seven games he's played. Another player making a difference was Mason Chesser, who posted eight points in addition to nine boards and three steals.

Onsted pushed their record up to 20-1 with the victory, which was their 19th straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.1 points over those games. As for Grosse Ile, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-12.
