Chipley waltzed into their contest on Thursday with seven straight wins... but they left with eight. They blew past the Baker Gators 3-0. This was payback for the Tigers, who suffered a 3-1 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Chipley was especially dominant in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-14, 25-20.

Demi Davies paced Chipley's offense, picking up ten kills. Davies got some help from Cheyenne Risinger and her 37 assists. Risinger also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Sarayah Hogan, each putting up three.

Chipley's win bumped their record up to 17-6. As for Baker, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-10.

Coming up, Chipley will be playing in front of their home fans against Milton at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Baker, they are taking a road trip to challenge Destin at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
