The River View Raiders will challenge the Scott Skyhawks at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. River View is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 57.3 points per game this season.

It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 72-39, which was the final score in River View's tilt against Tug Valley last Monday.

The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Lilly Perkins, who posted five points along with eight rebounds and six steals. She has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times she's played. Another player making a difference was Chasity Kennedy, who scored 16 points in addition to seven boards and three steals.

Even though they lost, River View smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 15 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive boards every time they've taken the court this season.

Meanwhile, Scott waltzed into their game on Monday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They walked away with a 50-37 victory over Grace Christian.

Scott pushed their record up to 8-10 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.7 points over those games. As for River View, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-8.

Everything came up roses for River View against Scott in their previous matchup back in December of 2019, as the team secured a 73-37 victory. In that contest, River View amassed a halftime lead of 41-16, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Tuesday.
