If Zephyr was feeling good fresh off their 50-11 takedown of Brookesmith last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Zephyr Bulldogs took a 37-33 hit to the loss column at the hands of the May Tigers. The Bulldogs' loss signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Zephyr's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 12-8. As for May, the victory was the 18th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 20-8.

Zephyr does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for May, they are taking a road trip to square off against Huckabay at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Huckabay's defense has only allowed 29.8 points per game this season, so May's offense will have their work cut out for them.
