Volleyball Recap: Johnston Falls Short Against Ranked South Kingstown

Johnston faced South Kingstown in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Wednesday. The Panthers fell just short of the Rebels by a score of 3-2. The Panthers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Rebels earlier this season, when they won 3-2.

Johnston's defeat dropped their record down to 6-4. As for South Kingstown, the victory snapped their losing streak at six games and leaves them with a 3-6 record.

Looking ahead, Johnston will square off against Toll Gate at 6:30 a.m. on Monday. The Panthers are facing the Titans at the right time seeing as the Titans are stuck on an eight-game losing streak. As for South Kingstown, they will welcome Lincoln at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
