Tiftarea Academy won against Georgia Christian back in December of 2024 with 56 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Monday. The Tiftarea Academy Panthers snuck past the Southwest Georgia Academy Warriors with a 56-52 victory. The win was nothing new for the Panthers as they're now sitting on three straight.

Southwest Georgia Academy lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Grayson Cox, who posted 19 points. With that strong performance, Cox is now averaging an impressive 15.2 points per game. Another player making a difference was Briggs Kelley, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 11 boards.

Tiftarea Academy pushed their record up to 7-1 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. As for Southwest Georgia Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 7-6.
