Axtell won the last time they faced Washington County and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Eagles came out on top against the Tigers by a score of 2-0. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Axtell took both sets by at least 11 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-6, 25-14.

Axtell's win bumped their record up to 8-6. As for Washington County, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-10.
