Volleyball Recap: Fitchburg Red Raiders vs. Marlborough Panthers
Fitchburg was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Marlborough Panthers. If the Red Raiders were looking for revenge after losing 3-1 to the Panthers when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.
Fitchburg's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Marlborough, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-3.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Fitchburg will welcome South Lancaster Academy at 5:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Marlborough, they will take on Blackstone Valley RVT at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday.
