Basketball Recap: Canyon State Academy Comes Up Short

Canyon State Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 53-46 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Alta Vista Lobos.

Canyon State Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Alta Vista, they moved to 4-7 with that victory, which also ended their six-game losing streak.

Canyon State Academy will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Southwest Leadership Academy at 5:30 p.m. Alta Vista has already played their next contest (against BASIS - Ahwatukee), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
