Volleyball Recap: Nuiqsut Trapper Falls Short Against Ranked Kali

Nuiqsut Trapper faced Kali in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Trappers fell 3-1 to the Wolverines. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Wolverines this season, with their most recent loss being a 2-0 defeat on Friday.

Nuiqsut Trapper was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Kali work for it, especially in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 26-28, 28-26, 25-21.

Nuiqsut Trapper's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Kali, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-3.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Wolverines beat Nuiqsut Trapper by a score of 3-1 later that day.
