Volleyball Recap: Seven Straight Home Victories for Rock Creek

For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last six times Rock Creek and Nemaha Central have met, but the home crowd finally got their W on Saturday. The Mustangs walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Thunder. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-1 two weeks ago.

Rock Creek never let Nemaha Central on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 27-25.

Ambree Portelli paced Rock Creek's offense, picking up seven kills. Portelli got some help from Brynna Zoeller and her 24 assists. Brooklyn Dye controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.
