It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Providence Christian can now relate to. They took a 21-13 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Reeltown Rebels on Friday. The Eagles' loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Craig Pittman threw for 137 yards and one TD. John Martin Byrd was his top target, picking up 58 receiving yards and one score. On the ground, Tyler Sharp rushed for 39 yards.

It was another big night for Alijah Woods, who rushed for 66 yards and one touchdown on only eight carries for Reeltown. What's more, Woods racked up 28 receiving yards, the most he's had since back in September.

Providence Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 9-4. As for Reeltown, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 10-3.

Providence Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Reeltown, they will face off against Lanett at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Rebels will need to watch out since the Panthers have now posted at least 31 points in their last six games.
