Basketball Game Preview: Corner Yellow Jackets vs. Carbon Hill Bulldogs

Having just played yesterday, the Corner Yellow Jackets will head out on the road to face off against the Carbon Hill Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Corner is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Monday as they easily beat Oak Grove 93-51. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Yellow Jackets with their most commanding win of the season.

Meanwhile, Carbon Hill had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 17.3 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Monday. They took their matchup with ease, bagging a 69-21 victory over the Bulldogs. Carbon Hill has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven games by 20 points or more this season.

Carbon Hill pushed their record up to 17-4 with the win, which was their seventh straight on the road. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.6 points per game. As for Corner, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 15-7.
