Recap: Hodgson Vo-Tech Eagles vs. Middletown Cavaliers
Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but unfortunately for the Hodgson Vo-Tech Eagles, they weren't the ones who walked away with it. They ended up on the wrong side of a tough 28-7 walloping at the hands of Middletown on Saturday. Hodgson Vo-Tech has not had much luck with Middletown recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Xavier Brown threw for 234 yards and a touchdown. Marlon Sparks was his top target, picking up 83 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Hodgson Vo-Tech's loss dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Middletown, their win bumped their record up to 8-3.
Hodgson Vo-Tech does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Middletown will face off against Salesianum at TBD on Saturday. One thing working in Salesianum's favor is that they have now posted big point totals in their last seven matches.
