Basketball Recap: George Rogers Clark Makes It 20 in a Row at Home

On Wednesday, George Rogers Clark faced Assumption in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The George Rogers Clark Cardinals came out on top against the Assumption Rockets by a score of 66-53. The Cardinals haven't had any issues with the Rockets recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Assumption lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Ashlinn James, who posted 16 points. James is also crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Se'Rae Palmer was another key player, putting up ten points and three steals.
