Softball Recap: McLaurin Takes a Loss

McLaurin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against Southeast Lauderdale, falling 15-0. The match marked the first time this year in which McLaurin was not able to get on the board.

McLaurin's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Southeast Lauderdale, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-9 record this season.

McLaurin will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Enterprise at 6:30 p.m. on April 1st. As for Southeast Lauderdale, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Southeast Lauderdale Tigers take on Sebastopol Bobcats at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. They are strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8 runs per game this season.
