Soccer Recap: Hendersonville Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Hendersonville lost against Polk County back in November of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Bearcats fell 3-1 to the Wolverines. While losing is never fun, Hendersonville can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 233rd, while Polk County are ranked 63rd).

Hendersonville's goal came courtesy of Will Shealy, which was the first he's scored this season.

Hendersonville's loss dropped their record down to 5-7-1. As for Polk County, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-0-2 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hendersonville will welcome Madison at 6:00 p.m. on the 15th. As for Polk County, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Owen at 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday. Polk County will need to watch out since Owen have now posted at least four goals in their last three contests.
