Volleyball Recap: Hoover Victorious

Hoover won the last time they faced Grace Davis and things went their way on Saturday too. The Patriots came out on top against the Spartans by a score of 2-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Patriots.

Alejandra Espino was the offensive standout of the game as she had seven assists and four aces. That's the most aces she has posted since back in October of 2024.

Espino wasn't the only good server: Hoover was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 15 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least seven aces every time they've taken the court this season.

Hoover's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Grace Davis, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Hoover didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 victory against Atwater on the 23rd. As for Grace Davis, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Waterford on the 25th.
