Basketball Game Preview: Shidler Tigers vs. Drumright Tornadoes

The Shidler Tigers and the Drumright Tornadoes will compete for holiday cheer at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Shidler is headed into the matchup having just suffered their biggest defeat since February 9th on Friday. They took a blow against Cimarron, falling 91-38. The contest marked the Tigers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Meanwhile, after some red-hot attacks on offense in their last three matches, Drumright finally came back down to earth on Friday. They were dealt a 67-26 loss at the hands of Hominy. The Tornadoes' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Shidler's loss dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Drumright, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 3-2.

Shidler took a serious blow against Drumright in their previous meeting back in January, falling 71-38. Thankfully for Shidler, Joseph Bray (who went 14 of 22 from beyond the arc en route to 46 points and eight rebounds) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
