High Plains won the last time they faced Lawrence-Nelson and things went their way on Thursday too. The Storm came out on top against the Raiders by a score of 2-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Storm.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-21.

Peyton Hofmann paced High Plains' offense, picking up seven kills. Hofmann got some help from Gahvi Lesiak and her 20 assists. Hofmann also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Ava Lindburg, each putting up three.

High Plains' victory bumped their record up to 14-10. As for Lawrence-Nelson, their loss was their sixth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-18.

Coincidentally, High Plains and Lawrence-Nelson will both be playing Bruning-Davenport/Shickley the next time they take the court. The Raiders will host the Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Storm will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
