Deer Lakes waltzed into their matchup on Friday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They strolled past the Derry Trojans with points to spare, taking the game 67-49. Given the Lancers' advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 109th, while the Trojans are ranked 265th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Deer Lakes' win bumped their record up to 12-2. As for Derry, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-4.
